Half a year and...

It's been that long since I've last blogged. Wow so many things have happened I can't even remember them. USA is booked and ready to go for August, JB turned 2 yesterday so he got some yummy doggy biscuits to munch on, and it's been 4 years...hm time really does fly. Ended off last year on a sad note, RIP kong2.. went back to KL with emergency leave from work which was really good of them and had a completely different funeral than the one I had with Ah kong. I guess cos one was taoist and one was buddhist. Hm... can't say much except they are both damn noisy and go on long into the night. Got to scatter the ashes into the klang which caused a long rickity boat to take us out with a chanting nun...sigh. Mum has come to visit and left as well, por2 fell so she left about a week before she planned to but it was nice as there was someone looking after all of us. I'm sure JB misses the exercise. It's raining and dreary at the moment, sucks to have this kind of weather again. Can't wait till the holidays. All we need to do is book the hotels, they are halfway through and the domestic flights are all booked. Happy Birthday Ah ma! Love and miss you lots...wish I could be there celebrating with you!

Claremont SC and scrapes...

Usually I blog before holidays and after and I guess I have forgotten after the quick HK macau and KL trip, then I went again to KL for my birthday and then forgot to blog before or after again. Had a wonderful time, spent lots with family this time, even caught up with old friends - Fernie, Tam and Cheng. Long time no see and lots to catch up I guess.. lots of stuff changed over there too.

Anyway I went to the Dr this morning, got prescription for antibiotics for my cough and sore throat, went to claremont sc for my hubby's paper card for our one year. Time sure does fly when you're having fun. I can't believe it's been a year as well. We celebrated in style last week going to new norcia doing something we both haven't and then back again to the place we started - crepe suzette and chez pierre one year on minus the family. Tomorrow or the day after we are off to swan valley and on to greener pastures. Anyway... I've made the card hopefully very special and I've got another week before I get hubby's birthday greetings done too and dinner at nobu. It's booked and ready to go! So I was in claremont, got my koko black and cards then off for a quick look at DJ's... then went to the car to find a young girl leaving me a note, at least she left me a note telling me she had scratched my front bumper. Anyway I guess leaving a tad earlier and all would not have happened. Hm so anyway spent a long time on the phone with the insurance and off for my quote to fix tomorrow morning at Pierro's in North Perth.

In between the last post, Mishie came to Perth too so was awesome to catch up. Stella's hen's night is also coming up and wondering what to get as a pressie. I'm all swapped off. 1 November is also melbourne cup day so should be an interesting one as we are off for the day!! Whopee!!

The week and we're off.

So it's less than a week to go, 3 more shifts, I'm the one with the weird sleeping patterns at the moment, did a dayshift yesterday and spent the whole day with grandpa Chau. Oh dear. Silence ensured for the eight hours. Then I have a nightshift tonight and tomorrow and a long one on friday and we're off. JB is booked into his doggie hotel, I've been sent a list from mummy, ah ma and the like, can't wait to go shopping, I've saved my money, got my visa and then thats about it. Looks like all I need to do is pack, send my car in for 30k service and all will be good. Hm. Not much else has happened eh, swapped my 4 weeks of nights, have to do the 2 and fingers crossed will swap the last 4.

Missing for a month plus...

Wow I haven't written anything and so much has happened. At work mostly. They are stuffing me around not heeding the doctor's advice and still playing up. Trying to make me run rings in circles. Sigh Oh well. We'll see what happens as it plays out eh? Apparently friday is the day. Anyway, day one of horrible arrived and I threw up cos stomach hurt so much, first time it happened on saturday and it was weird. Slept a hell of a lot the last few days as well. I must've been very very tired I think! Anyway oh well back to work tomorrow - I needed the 4 days off in a row! Got this fortnight to go, 3 nightshifts and we're off on holiday! Its coming up really quickly and HK, macau here we come! Should be an awesome time as its Ian's birthday as well which ensures lots of alcohol....gotta train for that before we leave or i'll be throwing up all over the place again! Can't wait for the yummy food and shopping! Sucks trying to save up though! 2 more payslips till the holidays and I;ve hardly saved anything to play with in macau, the rest is locked in. Hm enough for now, my true blood new season awaits.

So I was watching Australia's Amazing Race and they were solving the chinese zodiac puzzle... I too decided to and successfully did it without the clues, just from memory and my family's birth years. Woohoo, successful in another lot of random and unuseful things.
