Woke up early for church this morning. It's good friday.
Church was packed. I think cos this is the only time of year some people go to church... well this time and easter and christmas. The religious days.
Anyway had a new take on the good friday sermon.
This time it was in complete darkness... great for falling asleep especially when u get those deja vu feelings from lectures in darkness when a movie is shown or a presentation haha.
Usually the pastor would go on and on about the pain and suffering of Jesus dying on the cross for each and every one of us and emphasise basically what the passion did in the movie... but today he went on and on about super heroes and basically likened Jesus to one. In particular the pastor went on and on about Superman and Spiderman. So it was different, but interesting. A new take on an age old sermon.
Hm. Woohoo its the long weekend and I'm planning on watching 300 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since they both came out yesterday...woOt!
