Off to the white house...

So Obama is off to the white house, his speech was awesome to listen to, it was inspiring, it spoke to people. It was definately much better that he won than mccain and palin. I didn't like them at all.. I hope Obama really does what he says he will and it would be another defining moment in the history books. Congratulations, I loved it. I especially loved the part where he said
"...we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America"
I love how it was a subdued speech, but yet one which spoke, it still had kick, it still meant something. Wow. Time will tell... God bless. I really have faith.

Hm anyway on to more mundane matters... I seem to be blogging as I am counting down the days till the end of my nightshift, seems like forever has gone by and it has. It has been weeks, sigh... time hasn't flown fast enough. So as of today there is 2 and a half weeks left, 11 shifts left to go or 94 hours of work if I am counting correctly, sigh. Time to get outta bed and get ready for work again. Oh on another note i tried this black sesame dessert thing from the shops, it tastes pretty nice too!

Oh and melbourne cup has just gone by too, byebye 50 bucks. Who is viewed? Where did he come from? Sigh, if I had known he was ferny's grandads horse I would've backed him... oh well u can't win them all. This melbourne cup was the one which I had the least faith in. No horse stood out... well above and beyond the pack. The winner did show that too, i think it was a 40-1 outside chance. Incredible. He came from nowhere... :P
