Back to reality...

Ah the joys of the trip were short lived eh? It was awesome but terrible to be back. Took a cheap tiger flight over there which was ok - we arrived at 3 in the morning, had a snooze and then woke up early to change hotels and wonder around. we stayed at intercon and that was an awesome experience - loved it! had a wonder around orchard road and then off to the night safari. not the best of nights to go - there was a slight drizzle during the show and the next day i had the aftermath of 5 large red itchy mossie bites. thank god for mopiko! my life saver against insect bites. next day we were off to sentosa, underwater world with pink dolphins and universal which was so much fun! better i think when it is fully opened. the food was pretty awesome as well. spent the day in vivo which is the best shopping centre there. found a new found love - qoosh has amazing dresses. then off to the casinos - sands and sentosa. a bit of a disappointment if u ask me. nice but lacking in atmosphere. vegas and macau by far wins hands down anywhere any casino. next day hung around bugis and then suntec. had a meal or two in chijmes and prego - yumyumyum. bugis markets and food stalls were awesome too! ah and the snacks rule. the last day had awesome teppanyaki which left a garlic flavour in my mouth for the rest of the day! tiger on the way back was not so amazing. the airport is lacking and far worse in my opinion that the air asia terminal in kl. sigh. bit disappointment. next time another airline to perth eh? but all in all an awesome sweaty sticky food filled adventure. back to reality where the weather is a letdown - cold windy and wet today! :( boo..
