Back from the USA!

So its been awhile, since we have been back and we're back to the lives we had before we left. Work, eat, sleep, days off and it repeats itself again. Lucky I have all the DVDs I brought back from KL and SF to watch. I've finished watching one TVB drama and then I started that epic China drama with 95 episodes. Today I'm on episode 50. Sigh. I have spaced it out and its almost like it never finishes. Anyway... I had a fantastic holiday. It started out with an awesome dinner in equitorial and then lots of drinks at whiskey bar and then a delayed flight to the US with a 30 min stoppover in taiwan instead of 1.5 hours. Anyway I was incredibly sick on the way to taiwan and then slept it off on the way to LA. Felt much better thank god. Anyway had no food at all, picked up rental car and made it to buena park in time for midnight and a 454 room. Got supper at taco bell then made it to disneyland the whole of the next day. Needless to say it was tiring beginning to the holiday. After that it was a long drive to san diego and once again bummed around, changed money and they off to the zoo and sea world the next day. It was jam packed again with very little time, had an awesome meal by the water and an italian yummy meal near the hotel as well. Super long drive the following day to vegas where we stayed 5 nights. Had an awesome time casino hopping and watched 2 cirques, o and zumanity. A few gambles and our room got comped 250 bucks. Anyway... hope we get to go back again soon. All the buffet and the neverending fun there was awesome, can't believe we slept early and woke up early too! Off to SF for a rainy week and had an awesome time, found fantastic egg tarts, spent time at pier 39, alcatraz, with uncle mike aunty sandra and the kids, had lotsa exercise up the nob hill and awesome time shopping. found out anyway that california has a higher tax rate than vegas. grumble grumble. managed to buy the things i wanted before the trip though, chanel bag and hermes belt. yeah!!! Off to another drive to LA and we were without the car for the last week. We stayed in beverly hills, learnt to take the bus and trains everywhere from century city to universal and beyond. Had awesome korean everyday which rivals anything we've eaten before. same with the vietnamese near disney. much better than the stuff you get here. chinatown in sf was awesome too but was disappointed with la's version! amazing though you could find all sorts of asian videos and cds over in sf along with trinkets, slippers etc. didn't manage to catch my nba game though... stupid tickets sold out or 500 bucks!! what the??? anyway thats all in a nutshell. all in all a fantastic time and so much less than what i expected to pay. hopefully we go back asap!! had a ball of a time!!
